Daruma

The Daruma doll is a depiction of Zen Buddhist founder Bodhidharma. In Japanese culture, the doll is representative of perseverance and good fortune. It is typical to leave one eye unpainted, and only fill it when your prescribed goals are completed. So no sharpie on those rashguards until you get your black belt, or you complete that flying triangle you’ve been working on, or you just get your ass out of bed to go train. The goal is up to you, we just make the rashies.
